A private sector partner to conservation districts in Maryland has been named in Inc. Magazine’s annual list of the top 5000 fastest growing private companies. Ecotone, Inc. was ranked #1834 overall and was named the #15 Top Environmental Services companies in the nation and #24 amongst Top Baltimore area companies.

“The Inc. 5000 award validates our efforts to partner with local government, nonprofit organizations, and private entities to facilitate sustainable ecological restoration in the Chesapeake Bay,” said Scott McGill, Ecotone’s founder and CEO, in a recent release.

In February 2017, NACD published a blog post on Maryland’s Harford Soil Conservation District and its project to meet EPA’s 2017 pollution reduction targets in the Chesapeake Bay with help from Ecotone.

“We could not have achieved success without patronage from Soil Conservation Districts and are thankful for your continued support,” Ritesh Seth, Ecotone’s marketing director, said in a personal email to NACD.
