NACD's mission is to serve conservation districts by providing national leadership and a unified voice for natural resource conservation.
NACD Auxiliary
The NACD Auxiliary is a support group to NACD. The role of the Auxiliary is to promote NACD’s education programs and otherwise support NACD’s efforts to conserve and develop American’s natural resources.
The NACD Auxiliary may engage in such educational, promotional, and public relations activities as will further the purposes, policies and activities of the NACD. The NACD Auxiliary will encourage and assist in the establishment and strengthening of the Auxiliaries of State Associations of Conservation Districts.
The NACD Auxiliary sponsors the prize money for the National Poster Contest and Photo Contest each year.
Any person who subscribes to the objectives of the NACD and the NACD Auxiliary shall be eligible for membership in the Auxiliary. Every person is a member of a State Association of Conservation Districts Auxiliary shall be deemed to be a member of the NACD Auxiliary.

NACD Auxiliary Officers
NACD Auxiliary officers include a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and as many Regional Chairpersons as the number of geographic areas established under the NACD By-Laws.
