Pack-a-Book Community Outreach Project
NACD 2010 Annual Meeting • January 31 - February 3, 2010 • Orlando, FL
NACD is coordinating its third annual “Pack a Book” community outreach project. This project will leave a lasting impression on Orlando, Fl. following NACD’s 64th Annual Meeting. You can participate by packing a book(s) to donate to local schools in the Orlando area.
Book List
The list linked below contains book suggestions. Feel free to bring a favorite book on natural resources/conservation to share with students. Books must be in good condition—either new or gently used—and be appropriate for student use.
Book List (PDF) - Download the list of books and pick one or more to donate. If you have a title in mind that isn't on the list, that's fine too!
Directions for Donation
NACD will place labels containing the donor’s name in each book. To assist NACD in creating the labels, please write your name, county, city and state on a piece(s) of paper before you come to the conference and place a paper inside each book you donate.
Books can be donated at the Stewardship and Education Exhibit in the Conservation Expo throughout the conference. To view Conservation Expo hours, please see the Conservation Expo page.
