WHAT: NACD District Share Fair
The NACD District Share Fair will allow districts to showcase their activities and accomplishments as well as network with other attendees. Examples of topics: District board election ideas, conservation education programs, community involvement with district, new programs developed for urban audiences, successful field days, new ways to bring money into district, grant ideas and success, communication with decision makers and or legislators, website ideas, media outreach, school programs, outdoor classrooms etc.

WHERE: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

WHEN: Monday, January 30, 10:45 - 11:45 AM

DUE DATE: Applications are due by December 20. You will be notified by January 10, 2012.

COST: Participation in the NACD District Share Fair is free.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Share Fair table applications will be reviewed and selected on combination of topic and regional location. Space is limited and open only to NACD 2012 conference attendees. Only 1 table per attendee or county. Share fair participants must be a registered attendee of the conference, so register early!

Please have one person moderate the discussion. This is a discussion-style format with interaction among those stopping by your table. Some participants may stay for a short amount of time and some may stay for longer. Bring business cards with contact information. Be prepared to share copies of resources you will be presenting, to the extent that you want to do so. It is highly recommend you: (1) retain one copy of all documents, clearly marked "display only" and (2) bring a sign up list in the event that you run out of documents, so that you can send additional requested copies of any resources after the conference.

The Share Fair will be held following the General Session on Monday, January 30, from 10:45 - 11:45 AM. You will be able to set up between 10:30 and 10:45 AM and all items must be removed from the tables immediately following the Share Fair. There will be limited electric outlets if you choose to use a laptop. Participants must bring their own extension cords; none will be available onsite. Internet access is unknown, so plan to show cached copies of web pages if you need use them in your presentation. Small science fair style displays are permitted to showcase your presentation.
