NWTF and conservation districts have developed a partnership that has grown significantly over the past few years at the local level as well as at the regional and national levels. This partnership has resulted in improved educational, financial and technical assistance to landowners. NWTF honors its relationship with districts through an annual award to a conservation district that most exemplifies this working partnership. NWTF biologists work with conservation districts across the country, serve as advisors to the NACD Forest Resources Policy Group and participate in many national policy coalitions with NACD in Washington, D.C.
