President's Award

NACD Executive Board Member Gene Schmidt received the 3rd annual President’s Award at NACD’s 62nd Annual Meeting in Reno, Nevada. The award recognizes one individual who has been especially helpful during the President’s term. Schmidt was chosen by 2007 NACD President Olin Sims.

Gene was recognized as one who is always willing to work behind the to work behind the scenes. He goes above and beyond what is expected without seeking audit or recognition. He commits much time and energy to NACD’s Stewardship and Education Committee. He serves on NACD’s executive board with distinction.

He is deserving of all our praise.
