2012 NACD Legislative Conference
2012 NACD Legislative Conference • July 16-17, 2012 • Washington, D.C.
NACD is eager for conservation leaders from across the nation to join us in Washington, D.C. for the 2012 Summer Board Meeting and Legislative Conference, slated for July 16-17 (with Board meetings beginning on July 14). The popular annual event will allow NACD members to learn more about policy issues impacting conservation at both local and national levels. The Conference will be held at the Washington Court Hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of Union Station, the U.S. Capitol Building and the National Mall.
This year, we're planning an especially exciting program for you! Attendees will have the unique opportunity to participate in a tour and briefings at the White House, in addition to a bus tour of the Chesapeake Bay and the historic city of Annapolis, Md. As usual, we'll also be setting aside a day for members to visit with their representative on Capitol Hill to talk about the latest policy issues impacting conservation. While you're here, be sure to take in D.C.'s many summertime activities like the concerts by military bands, the National Mall, museums, bus tours and more.
