National Association of Conservation Districts
NACD's mission is to serve conservation districts by providing national leadership and a unified voice for natural resource conservation.
Fiscal Year 2010
NACD's Board of Directors approved a strategy in February 2009 that continues to address three key conservation priorities throughout the budget and appropriations process. It is important that conservation districts engage in the appropriations process. Each step in the appropriations process presents an opportunity for funding decisions to be made, so it is important for Members of Congress to hear from NACD and conservation districts across the country every step of the way.
Below are NACD's appropriations priorities for fiscal year 2010, request letters to the Congressional subcommittee of jurisdiction and information sheets for each program.
