2019 NACD Executive Directors’ Conference
South Lake Tahoe, California | September 22-25
The California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD) and the National Association of Conservation Districts would like to welcome all State Association Executive Directors to attend this year’s conference in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
Conference Registration: The registration cost of $670 is to cover the cost of 8 meals and snacks, meeting expenses, conservation tour transportation, and accommodations. Please note that in past years, accommodations have not been included in the registration cost. Please fill out the registration form on page 5 and return with payment to CARCD by Aug. 25.
Accommodations: This year we will be staying at Airbnb houses in South Lake Tahoe. The cost of lodging is included in the registration cost. Each attendee will have their own room in the Airbnb. Each Airbnb house has a kitchen, and several have additional amenities like hot tub, pool.
Air Travel/Transportation: Attendees should fly into Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO). The airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. Conference staff will be coordinating carpools to and from the airport.
Miscellaneous: Dress is casual (anything from blue jeans, casual slacks, capris, to nice shorts). Average high temperature for September is around 71 degrees with a low averaging around 43 degrees. Please consider bringing a jacket for the evenings.
