The Association of Texas Soil and Water Conservation Districts is looking forward to welcoming our friends and neighbors from the South Central Region to Texas. As you may already know, the dates for the South Central Region Meeting are August 13-15, 2023 in Arlington, Texas.
We have planned a fun and informative three days for your trip to the Lone Star State. The meeting will kick off with a welcome reception on Sunday evening. Monday you will have the opportunity to tour the 77 Ranch in Navarro County. The 77 Ranch has become a shining example of holistic ranch management, and the family’s emphasis on soil health and rotational grazing have made them icons of agricultural stewardship. We will end the day at Joe T. Garcia’s on the patio. Joe T. Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant has been a Fort Worth staple since 1935. Founded by Mr. and Mrs. Joe T. Garcia, the restaurant has been in the family ever since. We will cap off the meeting on Tuesday with a general session and NACD business session.
A registration form is attached. Registration includes Sunday reception, all meals and tour on Monday and breakfast on Tuesday.
We have a room block at the Double Tree hotel in Arlington for $109 a night, the deadline to reserve a room is July 24, 2023. The hotel is located near the south entrance to DFW for anyone who might like to fly.
