CONNECT is an annual training developed by and for conservation districts, land trusts, and watershed councils around the state.
Held in the spring since 2009, and administered by OCEAN since 2012, CONNECT provides training focused on both the technical and administrative aspects of conservation implementation. Classes are developed for rural and urban conservation implementation, managerial and administrative function, and for education and outreach activities, delivering content that is specific and relevant to current conservation issues.
The Oregon Conservation Education and Assistance Network (OCEAN) has postponed the annual CONNECT 2020 conference until Dec. 1-3, 2020 due to concerns related to COVID-19. Current registrations will be moved to the new date. For additional refund and scheduling information, see the CONNECT 2020 website.
