2013: Where Does Your Water Shed?
Ever wonder where the rain goes once it hits the ground? It depends! If it hits a roof, it might go into a gutter and then down a downspout into a grassed lawn. If it hits a parking lot, it will travel on top of the asphalt to the lowest point it can find. If it lands on soil, it will soak into the ground and replenish groundwater reserves. Join us on our journey to find out more about water!
Where Does Your Water Shed? was the Stewardship theme for 2013. You may download the logo on NACD’s Flickr page here. Please use the 2013 stewardship materials for educational purposes only.
