Travellers Rest, Tennessee Agricultural Museum, and Music Star Homes

Join TACD for a trip honoring the history of Tennessee. The morning begins with a stop at the historic Travellers Rest Plantation, where Andrew Jackson’s presidential career was launched. The tour continues at the Tennessee Agricultural Museum, housed in a renovated house barn. The museum has a priceless collection of artifacts, including farm equipment, household items, tools, textiles, and rural Tennessee prints and photographs.

Nashville is home to many celebrities and music stars, including Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Amy Grant and Vince Gill, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and many more! This tour includes a visit to the Grand Ole Opry, known as the Mother Church of Country Music, with show time at 7:00 pm. Buses will run throughout the night for people looking to visit local honky-tonks and downtown Broadway. An event description will be posted here on the TACD website. Go on the road with a live music concert and private tour! We invite you to join NCDEA as we host this unique tour, made available with the Songbird Tour Company.

You will be picked up at the Gaylord Opryland for transport to downtown Nashville, where you will board the Songbird Tour bus for a two hour live concert. While enjoying the performers in concert, you will be driven around Nashville and the surrounding area to see where many famous songwriters live or where songs were written and recorded.

Historical Civil War Adventure

Spectacular Country Music Tour

Belle Meade Plantation Tour

Join TACD for a tour of the historic Belle Meade Plantation, a premier thoroughbred horse farm built in 1820. There are eight historic buildings on site, including a carriage house and stable from the 19th century. This tour includes lunch and a complimentary wine tasting. Jack Daniel’s Distillery Tour

This tour includes a visit to the Jack Daniel’s distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and includes lunch at the renowned Miss Mary Bobo’s. The distillery is located in Moore County, a “dry” county where the product cannot be legally purchased, and has been produced at this location since shortly after the Civil War.

Miss Mary Bobo’s is a boarding house built in the 1820s, known for providing unique, midday dining experiences in the southern tradition. Access more information here on the TACD website.
