During the 2022 NACD Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL, NCF will host the Virtual/LIVE auction to support conservation education programs including Envirothon and the Next Generation Leadership Institute. NCF aims to identify and advance strategic programs and partnerships to deliver conservation solutions through locally-led conservation and to develop the next generation of conservation leaders. This annual auction helps support and fund that mission.

The auction will be held live in-person and virtually on Monday, February 14 at 6:00 p.m.

The 2022 National Conservation Foundation Virtual/LIVE Auction is now open and available to preview at http://bidpal.net/ncf2022.

The online auction will be open for virtual bidding at 3:00 p.m. Eastern on January 31, 2022 and run through 10:00 p.m. Eastern on February 14, 2022. All items will be up for bid virtually, and some items will also be auctioned live during the NCF Auction event. Live bidding on these items will open at the highest virtual bid and online bidders will be able to continue their bidding in real time during the live auction.

Each year, generous individuals, conservation districts and state associations provide unique items for the auction. Auction items may feature local artists, or a special product made only in your state or territory. Successful items in past auctions include pottery, jewelry and “made-in” agriculture products. If you would like to donate an item to the 2022 NCF Virtual/LIVE Auction, it isn’t too late!

For each donated item, please send the following information to Keith Owen, NACD Director of Education at keith-owen[at]nacdnet.org:

  1. Who is donating the item (individual or organization)? Please include the following information a contact name, phone number and email.
  2. What is the item (How would you like for it to be listed in the Auction? Any additional information for the marketing ad copy is helpful.)
  3. What is the estimated value of the item?
  4. A digital photo (preferably Hi-Res) that is a good representation of the item.

Those donating to the auction are asked to keep their items and not ship or take them to the Annual Meeting. After the auction closes, NACD staff will forward the winning bidders shipping information.

The 2022 NCF Auction is a great opportunity to support NCF and conservation and is hosted thanks to the generous sponsorship from Prince George’s Soil Conservation District.
