2025 Annual Meeting Breakout Sessions
NACD is so excited to curate this year’s line up of breakout sessions. These informational sessions focus on the work of conservation districts and their partners across the country. From green infrastructure and restoration programs to outreach initiatives and new partnerships, these sessions provide a wealth of information about the agriculture world and the groundbreaking work from people across the nation. NACD’s breakout sessions are some of the most popular activities among meeting attendees and provide a platform for districts to share their initiatives with one another, so plan to join a few during the meeting!
This year, NACD is hosting sessions that fit into one of four themes:
- Community Outreach – approaches for reaching new and varied audiences for district programs and examples of successful outreach and education projects
- Conservation Implementation: Now and in the Future – examples of successful projects in natural resources, agriculture, and climate resilience
- Conservation District Capacity and Operations – innovative ways districts are maintaining or growing capacity in a changing political and economic environment, to include successful strategies for securing funding, approaches for staff management or board recruitment, etc.
- Conservation Partnerships – partnership opportunities for districts, new and innovative ways districts have partnered with foundations, local or state government, nonprofits, corporations and others
