2026 Annual Meeting Breakout Sessions

Thank you for your interest in the breakout sessions! NACD’s breakout sessions are some of the most popular activities among meeting attendees and provide a platform for districts to share their initiatives with one another. We look forward to a fantastic group of speakers for our 2026 Annual Meeting to be held in San Antonio, Texas, on February 15-19, 2026. This year’s sessions will feature presentations in the following topics:

  • Build and Expand Your Skillsets – Professional development and technical training
  • District Management: Embracing Change – Examples of districts overcoming challenges, adding new projects or technical capabilities, responding to change, and developing strategies for resilience
  • Conservation Innovation – Use of innovative approaches and technologies
  • Partnerships for Impact – Partnerships and innovative ways districts are growing capacity

New this year, we are proud to offer opportunities for certified professionals in agronomy, soils, and forestry to continue their education to maintain their certifications. For select Annual Meeting breakout sessions, we will offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through the Science Societies and Continuing Forestry Education (CFEs) through the Society of American Foresters. The sessions eligible for continuing education credits have a CEU, CFE, or both next to the session title on our agenda.
