Region Meetings

NACD region meetings give conservation district leaders, members and partners a time and place to discuss their most pressing concerns and share their most valuable insights.


North Central

The 2027 North Central Region Partners’ Meeting will be held in January 2027 (date and location to be announced).

The 2026 North Central Region Partners’ Meeting was held in Indianapolis, IN on January 13-14, 2026.


Northeast

The 2026 Northeast Region Meeting, hosted by the Delaware Association of Conservation Districts, will be held on August 24-27, 2026, at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington, DE.

Register before July 1 to receive the early bird discount. As you plan your travel, please keep in mind that this meeting will be running from Monday, 8/24, to Thursday, 8/27, NOT the Sunday to Wednesday schedule that the meeting typically falls on. Please stay and join us for the annual Capacity Building Event on Thursday, 8/27, from 8-12am before your departure. All are welcome at this meeting, and we plan to strategize on regional conservation capacity and growth strategy.

Also, check out this year’s unique opportunity in the “Management Excellence for Conservation Partners” track. This training track will meet throughout the meeting and is great for district managers and other district management positions.

Northern Plains

The 2026 Northern Plains Region Meeting, hosted by the Montana Association of Conservation Districts, will be held on June 22-24, 2026, in Helena, MT. A room block has been reserved at the Best Western Capitol Hotel at 1714 11th Ave, Helena, MT 59601. The room block expires on June 7, 2026. Contact the hotel and book a room at 406-442-1770. Please mention that you are with MACD to receive the group rate.

South Central

The 2026 South Central Region Meeting, hosted by the Louisiana Association of Conservation Districts, will be held on September 17-18, 2026.


Southeast

The 2026 Southeast Region Meeting, hosted by the North Carolina Association of Soil & Water Conservation Districts, will be held on August 9-12, 2026 in Cherokee, NC.

Join conservation leaders from across the Southeast for the 2026 NACD Southeast Region Meeting as we explore Conservation 2.0: Honoring Our Past and Securing Our Future. This engaging and forward-looking gathering will celebrate the legacy of conservation while focusing on innovative partnerships, leadership, and solutions that will shape the future of natural resource conservation across our region. Hosted by the North Carolina Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts in partnership with the North Carolina Division of Soil and Water Conservation, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the North Carolina Conservation District Employees Association, this event brings together Conservation District supervisors, staff, and partners to exchange ideas, highlight successful programs, and strengthen regional partnerships.

Attendees can expect a robust agenda featuring training opportunities, policy discussions, and updates from state and national leadership, along with opportunities to showcase innovative work happening across the region. See the full meeting agenda here.

Southwest and Pacific

The combined 2026 Pacific and Southwest NACD Joint Regional Meeting, hosted by Guam’s conservation districts, will be held August 24-28, 2026 in Guam. The meeting will explore the theme “Currents of Conservation: Navigating Soil and Water Stewardship.”

The meeting will be held over four days and include multiple tracks for breakout sessions and tours of both Northern and Southern Guam.

The deadline to submit presentation abstracts to host a breakout session is June 22. Learn more about the call for abstracts here and submit one here.
