NACD Announces 2022 Photo, Poster Contest Winners
New Orleans, LA – Today, the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) and announced the winners of the 2022 Photo and Poster Contests during the association’s 77th Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA.
The photo contest, open to amateur photographers in both youth and adult divisions, consists of images reflecting the themes of “Agriculture and Conservation Across America,” “Close-Up Conservation,” “Conservation in Action,” and “Conservation Practices.”
The poster contest, open to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, celebrated the 2022 NACD Stewardship Week theme, “Healthy Soil, Healthy Life.”
“These photos and posters are thoughtful and beautiful portrayals of conservation and creatively capture this year’s theme,” said NACD President-Elect Kim LaFleur. “The 2022 contest winners truly showcased the importance of healthy soils in protecting the continued health of our communities.”
The winners will receive cash prizes and all contest participants will receive a certificate of participation. View all the winning photos and posters on NACD’s Flickr page.
