NACD RESPONDS TO ZINKE’S CONFIRMATION AS INTERIOR HEAD

WASHINGTON, March 1, 2017 – The National Association of Conservation Districts looks forward to working with the newly confirmed head of the Interior Department, Ryan Zinke, to meet the needs of this nation’s 3,000 conservation districts.

“Conservation districts and their state associations work day in and day out to put conservation on the ground, often partnering with Interior agencies to meet local resource goals on private and public lands,” NACD President Brent Van Dyke said. “We look forward to working with Secretary Zinke and continuing our close working relationship with the department.”
