District Guides

Designed with our conservation districts’ needs in mind, NACD’s District Guides provide helpful information to assist and support district activities. We are continually creating and searching for useful tools for districts, so check back regularly for new guides.

NACD Reports

NACD publishes special reports for our member districts on topics ranging from carbon trading markets, to wildfire preparedness, to renewable energies and energy conservation. To look through an archive of these downloadable reports, visit NACD’s Reports page.

NACD Webinars

Are you interested in applying for one of NACD’s grants initiatives for conservation districts? Do you want to learn more about soil health conservation practices, or how to partner on forest restoration projects? Then you need to check out NACD’s archive of Webinars. Several of NACD’s Resource Policy Groups, called RPGs for short, hold webinars on a monthly basis for NACD members and partners on these topics, and many, many more.

Stewardship and Education Materials

NACD offers Stewardship and Education materials to help spread the word about what conservation districts do and how they are helping conserve natural resources for the future.

Conservation Planning Boot Camp

NACD teamed up with NRCS in 2016 to invite 59 conservation district staff members to attend a three-week, intensive “boot camp” for conservation planners. The partners agreed later that year to continue offering Boot Camp to CD staff for the next five years. Check out NACD’s Boot Camp page to learn more about this popular training opportunity.
