NCPP “What Works in the Field” Workshop – Indiana

08/22/2017 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The National Conservation Planning Partnership is excited to announce the advent of a new peer-to-peer web conference series to support conservation planning staff and partners. You are invited to join in on this ongoing opportunity to communicate and share your innovative work with colleagues, nationally. Click here for more information.

In our second workshop, District Conservationists Deb Knepp and Jennifer Kipper will discuss Indiana’s “planning first” policy and share their thoughts on how it works to get conservation on the land. The discussion will also include how Indiana made this emphasis on planning happen, their continued efforts to improve its effectiveness, as well as their results to date.

Join the conversation and gain insights as Indiana field employees lead an interactive discussion on what works in the field and how they overcame barriers to putting conservation planning first.

When: Tuesday, August 22, 10:00-11:00 a.m. PST | 1:00-2:00 p.m. EST.
